In business since 1982, our family-owned company has enjoyed considerable success both in the shooting sports arena as well as in product innovation. Our technical expertise for a company our size is unparalleled. Nowlin Mfg. has served as technical advisor to Winchester, Kimber, and many others in the firearms industry. Confidentially agreements prevent us from mentioning many others in the shooting sports business.

We are shooters. Members of the company regularly compete in USPSA, Bianchi Cup, and IDPA events from the local on up to the national level. We understand what you want and need to win.

We use the latest technologies. In our shop are CNC and other computer operated machines. We use the best materials such as S-7 tool steel for hammers and sears, A-6 steel for our MIM products, and special lots of 416 stainless steel for our barrels. Materials purchased are to highest industry standards. Heat treat is meticulously certified.

There is no substitute for inspection. All parts are carefully gauged for proper fit and function. Many parts are 100% inspected several times during their manufacture.

Craftsmanship is key to good products. This is evident when you pick up a Nowlin pistol. Parts are well fitted and blended. The slide to frame fit is excellent; not just riding on a few high spots. The barrel will be fit properly for long accuracy. The action will be crisp. All our Nowlin pistols will shoot less than 1�@ 25 yards with good ammunition. A test target is provided with all Nowlin pistols. In addition, they look exceptionally good.

Good service is critical to a business. We strive to improve daily. We will not rush work out the door, but we do manage to keep wait for product/service in a reasonable range. We offer solid technical service to keep you on target with Nowlin products.

We must be doing something right. Championship level shooters use Nowlin barrels in droves. Our complete guns do very well in IDPA, USPSA, and Bianchi Cup winner�s circles. The FBI specifies our barrels for their SWAT team 1911�s. The U.S. Marine Corps uses our barrels and other parts in the MEU-SOC 1911�s in service with elite units.
